Terms & Conditions for Tamara’s Wallet

The following terms apply to Tamara’s closed loop wallet Service, which started on 04/24/2022. Tamara reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the service at any time by posting an update on this page.

For these Terms of Use, wherever the context so requires You or User shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer on Platform by providing data while registering on the Platform as Registered User. The term Tamara,We,Us,Our shall mean Tamara.

  1. You may avail the services of the Tamara wallet upon successful registration and creation of an Account on the Tamara App or Website.

  2. The currency of issue of the Tamara wallet shall be based on the country where you are registered as Tamara customer.

  3. Tamara wallet can be topped up by:

    1. Tamara’s Referral Program

    2. Promotional Campaigns

    3. Merchant level cashback campaigns

    4. Regular refunds in case if asked by You explicitly

    5. Refunds which failed on original payment source due to various technical reasons

    6. Any other miscellaneous reward from Our side. Above top up categories may be revised by Us from time to time at Our sole discretion.

  4. You hereby authorize Us to hold, receive and disburse funds in Your Tamara wallet in accordance with any payment instructions We receive from You or merchant.

  5. Tamara wallet balance may not be applicable to all types of payments done on Tamara platform and it may differ according to the category of top up mentioned in point 3.

  6. The Tamara wallet will provide you with the information to use the wallet balance in your next order, as an instant credit discount.

  7. Wallet balance will be automatically applied to the next purchase until and unless functionality to control usage of wallet balance is made available from Tamara.

  8. Transfer of funds from Your wallet balance to another user's wallet balance shall not be permitted. Although only in case of refund credit as top up category for any order mentioned on point 3.(d) and 3.(e), you can raise a request to transfer credit to your bank account. For Tamara to process bank transfer for above mentioned scenarios, You have to share your own bank account details to Us using the Tamara app or website functionality to link bank accounts.

  9. The wallet balance cannot be withdrawn, substituted, or exchanged for cash.

  10. In case of full or partial returns or refunds, the equivalent promotional balance that has been earned from promotional campaigns will be deducted from the wallet balance. If the promotional balance has been redeemed for a transaction, the relevant amount will be added to your pending installments or deduct the promotional campaign earned from the remaining balance in the wallet.

  11. You expressly agree and acknowledge that You shall have no claims against Us for the balance forfeited from Your Tamara wallet balance added as a part of promotional campaigns run by Tamara or any other miscellaneous top up done by Us.

  12. Tamara reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the wallet without prior intimation.
